Tuition rates are set by the Board of Regents (BOR) each April and are effective for the summer, fall, and spring semesters following. All Capital University Center and online classes are charged self-support tuition rates. Tuition is the same regardless of residency. These classes are not eligible for any discounts as defined in the Board of Regents Policy 5:5:2.
State employees are now eligible to receive reduced rates for tuition. A reduced rate tuition form must be filled out and sent to the student’s home university. Reduced rates are ONLY available for face-to-face classes being taught at Capital University Center. Undergraduate tuition per credit will be $216.95. Reduced Tuition Form Available Here. Graduate tuition per credit will be $289.75 for qualified state employees in face-to-face classes at CUC.
Students are solely responsible to pay their tuition by the deadline. Students may view their statement, financial aid, and grades via Web Advisor. Monthly payment plans and credit card payments are available and may be accessed through SDePay on Web Advisor. Students on financial aid will have their tuition taken directly out of their account on campus.
To figure your total tuition, multiply the per credit amount by the number of credits you are taking. Books are not included in tuition and will need to be purchased separately. CUC will accept and hold a post-dated check for books purchased at CUC until students receive their financial aid refund.
