Investment Basics Seminar
$25This class will explore the basics of investment planning. We will discuss fundamental investment concepts, review some of the investment options available, learn about various types of risk and consider general investment strategies. Mountain Dulcimer for BeginnersWith just 3 strings that you note by-the-numbers, playing the mountain dulcimer is easy. It’s never too early or too late to give it a try! If you can count, you can play. We’ll start with nursery rhymes, but Home on the Range is certain to be in the lineup, and favorites like Down in the Valley, Barbara Allen, Boil Them Cabbage Down, Amazing Grace, and I've Been Working On The Railroad are all possibilities, too. $75This non-credit, three session course examines US history through a musical perspective. The class will listen to selected songs from the past and discuss how historical events shaped the music of the 20th century.
